Newt’s back in D.C. to corral the Tea Partiers in the House & train them on how to shut down the U.S. Government

Newt’s back in D.C. to corral the Tea Partiers in the House and train them up on how to shut down the U.S. Government. I think they were well on their way without him, but now it’s clear that unless Dems completely capitulate to their ridiculous demands, we are heading for at least a temporary shut down.

If it’s been hard to ignore the echoes of recent Washington history lately — as a Democratic White House battles House Republicans over the budget and talk of a government shutdown swirls — the arrival of a blast from the past on Thursday will make it impossible.

The President Needs to Stand Against Extremist Opposition

Here’s hoping that the President stands strong against the extremist opposition that wants to force more pain on the American people over the threat of a government shutdown. Call their bluff, Mr. President, just as Bill Clinton did.

The attack on public employees and labor unions is an attack on all working Americans.

Proud to stand with activists from all over Michigan in support of labor rights for WI workers and all Americans. Thanks to Move On.Org for sponsoring the rally to Save the American Dream. We’ve got our work cut out for us. MI and America MUST be a place of opportunity for all – not just the folks at the top.

Now is no time for a tea party. Hope you are ready to stand and fight for the American Dream.

“I can understand why Thomas Jefferson said a little revolution now and then is a good thing,” Bernero said. “The assault on unions, the assault on the public employees is nothing less than an assault on the American people.”
