Memorial Day should remind us to take a moment or two today to consider the brave men and women who paid the ultimate price to protect our freedoms and way of life. May their families feel the love and support of a grateful nation.

What a Win-Win-Win!! Taxpayers rewarded, thousands of jobs saved and created, and Chrysler gets a new lease on life…The naysayers on Wall Street proven wrong again. Thank you, President Obama for getting the job done.
I kinda blew a gasket when FOX’s Eric Bolling once again attacked GM for not paying back the govt. loan fast enough. They are breaking records for sales and return-on-investment as GM products fly out of showrooms. You tell me if i was over the top…
GM jobs coming to Michigan and other states!!! Remember when the right wingers said we should let the “free market” work and kill off GM and Chrysler? I was proud to stand up for domestic manufacturing then and now. Great nations must produce greatly, not just consume.
It is so easy to criticize, to judge. Mitch Albom challenges his readers to ACT, and reminds us the paramount importance of that human connection we share with others. Political engagement is vital, but let’s never get too busy to offer a hand up and a kind word to our fellow human beings.
You have GOT to see Colbert’s coverage of the EFM martial law issue in Michigan. Colbert is absolutely masterful (and hilarious) in driving home his point about democracy and the hypocrisy of holding municipalities to a much higher standard than the nation itself. You will want to pass this on.
